LOCATIONS

If you’re seeking a delightful bite in the heart of Swoyersville, Pennsylvania, look no further than Bingo's Hoagies. Nestled at 503 Slocum St, this charming take-out hoagie shop has become a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike. Renowned for its incredibly wallet-friendly menu, Bingo's Hoagies stands out not only for its prices but also for the quality of its offerings.

When you walk up to the service window, get ready for a treat. Customers rave about the fresh ingredients and satisfying portion sizes, with many noting that you can snatch a flavorful hoagie for under $5! Al Akulonis Jr. shares, "Delicious hoagie for a great price!" And who could argue with that? The value is hard to beat, making it an excellent choice for a quick meal on the go.

While the line can sometimes stretch to 30 minutes on a busy day, the consensus is that the wait is worthwhile. Jason Yanchik, a first-time visitor, appreciates the fresh preparation of his Italian hoagie, even if customizations were limited. It’s true—the classic combinations here are the stars of the show. With fresh sesame seed buns that customers like Neil Y highlight, the base of these hoagies is nothing short of exceptional.

Part of Bingo's charm lies in its simplicity. Ken Evans, a long-time patron, has watched this establishment thrive since the 80s, a testament to its consistency and commitment to quality. Diners appreciate the straightforward ordering system—order at the window, and if you’re lucky, you might just grab an already made hoagie to satisfy your hunger immediately, as Lynn Kafchinski did on her recent visit.

It's essential to note, however, that some requests may be met with a “no.” While it might catch you off guard, like with Jason's tomato request, these quirks add character to the experience. The lack of extra amenities, such as napkins, has been noted by customers, but the deliciousness of the hoagies often overshadows these minor inconveniences.

Bingo's Hoagies isn’t just a meal; it’s a nostalgic journey for many, a local gem steeped in tradition. Whether you’re an avid tomato-lover or, like Fred Lema, one who appreciates the option not to have them, this hoagie shop invites everyone to indulge in their flavorful creations. Ultimately, if you find yourself near Swoyersville, a stop at Bingo's Hoagies promises both great food and a slice of local culture. Do yourself a favor and check it out—you just might discover your new favorite hoagie!

First time here, it is a walk up window service so depending on the line you could be waiting anywhere between 15 to 30 minutes depending on how many people are in front of you and how big their orders are. Being today was a beautiful Saturday afternoon I waited a good 25 minutes. Now for the price you can't beat it. I got the hoagie and a drink for under 5 bucks. Now it was made fresh which I liked. I ordered the Italian, it came with lettuce, cheese, and meat on what looked like a 6 inch bun. Now it was not a thick hoagie. Comparable to a small sandwich. I asked if he could put mayo on it instead of dressing which he did but I was a little shocked to the answer to my next question. I asked if he can add tomato on it. He responded no, didn't offer. What kind of deli place does not offer tomato for a hoagie I thought to myself? Ok that's fine. He gave me my hoagie and drink and I asked him because I was not going home may I please have some napkins? No again, they don't offer napkins. WTH Bingo's? There's an old saying you get what you pay for. Now was it a good tasting sandwich? Definitely! Do I recommend if your in the area to grab a couple? Absolutely! Would I make a special trip back? Probably not. Until our next review be blessed and stay safe.

Great subs!!! So glad this little store is still in business. Been going here for subs since I was a teenager. And little has changed since the 80’s but their location. Food is always fresh, people are friendly, and food at a price you can’t beat.

I deeply hate tomatoes due to an incident when I was 12 at a summer camp in MEMPHIS and the fact that getting them on a pre made hoagie is not automatic was awesome as opposed to most places who slide that thinly sliced devils fruit in your hoagie only to do nothing more than get the bun soggy mostly from my every time I or a so this is absolutely my new favorite place and for the curious about why a simple has caused me years of therapy Google the TENNESSEE TOMATOE TRAUMA OF 1973 but be aware that you will never be able to UNSEE IT!!!! So choose carefully folks and in case someone actually cares YES i do still like KETCHUP but HATE SPAGHETTI go figure?

Order at the door!! I'd would order there any day! I paid like $5.50 for 2 already made Italian hoagies. And they were definitely not skimpy! You can order something fresh if you'd like but I was hungry and wanted something right there and then. . No waiting. I definitely would recommend!!!

I love this place! Where else can you get a decent sized hoagie for $2.50? The bun is what makes them special, though. The sesame seed buns they use are excellent. The employees are friendly, as well.
